How do weekend rentals work?

• Rates vary during what Colombians call high season and low season. Please contact us for the most recent rate card.
• You’ll pay the daily rate plus a cleaning fee.
• All weekend rates include use of the entire house. Unlike hotels in Santa Fe de Antioquia, we don’t charge per person.
• You’ll have access to all the air-conditioned bedrooms. Each room has a lock and key so that your belongings are safely stored during your stay. Pillows, sheets, and a cover are available on each double bed.
• Towels are available for out of country guests. We understand that traveling internationally with towels is not common. We will inventory towels before you check out of the house.
• You’ll find basic pool floats ready for your personal enjoyment.
• Our caretaker lives on premise and will ensure that the pool is clean all day and that you have access to everything at the house. If you have any issues at the house, just call him.
• For weekend rentals, we’ll ask for a small deposit to help protect against damages or any missing inventory items.
• Note that we’ll inventory the entire finca before you check-out in order to return your security deposit. We’ll ask you to sign a contract when you sign, an inventory list at check-in and check-out. It takes no more than 2 minutes in total!

All-day Concierge Access
Concierge Service is USD $20.00 daily. This gives our guests peace of mind by providing access to our bilingual concierge service. We handle everything from meal planning, arranging for alcohol delivery, calling for taxi services or any other details during your stay. Available from 8 AM to 8 PM. This makes your stay truly turn-key with us. We use WhattsApp to communicate with the concierge.

All-day Kitchen Staff
Make your stay even more convenient by adding kitchen staff to your visit. For a starting rate of USD $40.00 daily, our cook is available to you not just for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but to keep your snacks ready and drinks full. With this option, we’ll arrange the menu, do the shopping and prepare the meals; meal prices vary depending on menu. Food cost not included. Note that our Dia de Sol includes lunch service only.

Spa Day Services
We’d be happy to coordinate a one-hour spa massage, manicure or pedicure provided by a Santa Fe local. These amazing ladies have known our family for years. For the safety of the staff, our caretaker will announce their arrival and ensure everything is set up correctly. Massages are done on proper massage tables brought by the team.

Additional Service Runs
Thought you had everything covered? It’s never the case! Many of our guests don’t have cars. Don’t worry, If you would like a “beer run”, diaper run, or extra snacks, our caretaker will gladly run the errand for you at $5.00 per run plus expenses. Cash is preferred but if that becomes an issue, just call our concierge – we have a solution for everything! TRANQUILOS!

How many people can rent the finca for the day?

Available Monday through Thursday. Two person minimum. We work with various tour guide companies and the maximum capacity for a semi-private ‘dia de sol’ in Santa Fe de Antioquia is sixteen people or four groups.

What does a ‘Dia de sol’ include?

– One hour of our bilingual concierge service in case you need help getting accommodated; this is particularly important if you don’t speak Spanish. Our on-premise staff is NOT bilingual. We do have a cheat sheet to help you communicate the basics with them!
– Pool access is from 10 AM to 5 PM.
– Towels and simple pool inflatables for your enjoyment.
– A traditional lunch served around noon by our house staff.
– The first round of drinks at lunch is on us! We’ll be serving a round of beer or Cerveza Michelada (a local specialty drink) for our guests.
– Access to one private, air-conditioned room per group (air conditioned). Each room has a lock and key for the security of your belongings.

What if we want additional services?

– We’d be happy to accommodate any of the additional “Experiences” listed below. Just talk to our concierge when booking to learn more.

What about alcohol or other food? Are we allowed to bring what we want?

Absolutely. Bring in what you need to enjoy your day, and feel free to use our kitchen as-needed. If you would like anything delivered, our staff will gladly coordinate that. Additional fees applies. Cash only.

Should we tip the staff? How much?

Tips are always appreciated. A $5 USD tip is recommended.
